Divided Send MSL Dayton Home with 3-2 Loss

Alberto Chávez knocked in 3 runs to help MSL D.C. beat MSL Dayton, 3-2. Chávez produced 2 singles and 1 home run. Dwien Bellanueva closed the door for MSL D.C., picking up his 6th save of the year. MSL D.C., at 9-5, sits in third place in the 3L MSL.
Had Chávez not come through in the top of the seventh, who knows how the game would've ended? But with two down, Chávez hit a run-scoring single. The Divided took the lead, 3-2, and never looked back.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said MSL D.C. skipper Wessel Rosas.
