Starting pitcher Patrick McMillon was a major factor in the 3-2 MSL Kingston Ponies triumph over the MSL St. Louis Coeur. The Ponies improved their record to 9-5 by beating MSL St. Louis.

MSL Kingston won the game in part because of Alberto Lozano. The center fielder ripped a solo home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Ponies ahead, 3-0. For the game, Lozano had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said MSL Kingston manager Dan Taylor.
