Behind the bravura of shortstop Ming-feng Qin, the MSL Mexico City Blue Demons topped the MSL Kingston Ponies by the score of 8-3. Qin went 4-5 with 2 home runs and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Blue Demons. Jae-young Yi earned the save for MSL Mexico City, his 1st. The Blue Demons now have a record of 8-7 with the win over MSL Kingston.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, the Blue Demons grabbed the lead when Alfredo Gómez rapped a two-out double. MSL Mexico City was trailing 3-2, when Gómez hit a 2-run double off António Peña to put his team in front, 4-3.

"We didn't pitch good, and when you don't pitch good, you lose," said MSL Kingston manager Jeffery Brock.
