Loss Diminishes Fine Performance by Villarreal
The MSL Vancouver Grey Wolves spoiled a good performance by MSL Montana second baseman António Villarreal, bumping off MSL Montana, 7-6, at MSL Montana Ballpark. Villarreal belted 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. MSL Vancouver reliever Francisco García picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Juha Vihavainen absorbed the loss. MSL Montana is now 5-4.

Guo-ning Chuko went 1-4 with a triple, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once against the Pandas. With the game tied in the top of the eighth inning, he hit a sacrifice fly that put MSL Vancouver in front, 7-6.

"It wasn't a pretty victory," said Chuko, "but we got it done."
