Divided Topple Blue Demons, 12-8, as De La Garza Shines
The MSL D.C. Divided beat the MSL Mexico City Blue Demons, 12-8, at MSL D.C. Ballpark. Miguel De La Garza, in particular, was impressive. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 3 and driving in 4. Adyota Surekha earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 3 runs on 4 hits in 2.2 innings. He upped his record to 1-1. The last-place Blue Demons have dropped 6 straight games.

Had Ming-feng Ci not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Ci hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 6-5, in favor of the Divided.
