At MSL Detroit Ballpark, the MSL Detroit Elite and MSL Philadelphia Liberty were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The MSL Philadelphia Liberty received a sterling performance from starting pitcher Gil Chapman, allowing them to shoot down the MSL Detroit Elite, 4-1. With the victory, the Liberty upped their record to 7-3.

Chuck Goodman had a direct impact on the outcome. Goodman contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put MSL Philadelphia up, 1-0.

"I was able to fill up the zone," said Chapman.
