Oaks Defeat Grey Wolves, 8-6
The MSL Oakland Oaks picked up a win at MSL Oakland Ballpark, downing the MSL Vancouver Grey Wolves, 8-6, in 10 innings. On the mound for MSL Oakland was left-hander Avery Finley, who played a pivotal role in the win. The win went to Nate Richardson in relief, making him now 1-1. José Barticer took the loss for MSL Vancouver. The first-place Oaks improved to 12-5.

The game-ending blow was delivered by Pong-keun Yi in the bottom of the tenth. That's when he hit a 2-run home run off 17-year old right-handed pitcher José Barticer to win it for MSL Oakland and cause the home crowd to erupt in celebration.

"Avery had good stuff. When he did get into a compromising count, he made the most of it," said MSL Oakland manager Ricky O'Toole.
