Battery Slap 6-4 Loss on MSL St. Louis

The MSL Charleston Battery downed the MSL St. Louis Coeur, 6-4, at MSL St. Louis Ballpark. The Battery were led by Hilton Donaldson. Donaldson went 1 for 2 with a home run and 3 walks, while scoring 2. Sang-keun Yi got the save, the 4th for him this season. After today's action, MSL Charleston sits at 10-7; MSL St. Louis slips to 7-10.
MSL Charleston used the clutch hitting of David Águila to capture the win. The catcher drilled a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to give the Battery the lead, 5-2. For the game, Águila had 2 singles and 1 double in 4 at-bats.
"We're in a little funk right now and we've just got to get ourselves out of it," said MSL St. Louis manager Harunobu Matsushita.
