Lighthouse Get Clutch Win Versus MSL Las Vegas
|
MSL Long Island starter Héctor Sánchez pitched well against the MSL Las Vegas Flamingos at MSL Long Island Ballpark. The right-hander led his team to a win, 2-1. MSL Long Island pitcher Carlos Ruíz got the win. He's now 2-0. José Rodríguez was tagged with the loss. The victory gives MSL Long Island a record of 7-3.
Yamato Shimizu was the walk-off hero for MSL Long Island. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Lighthouse right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"Héctor made his pitches," said MSL Long Island manager Hsien-feng Chen.
