The MSL Buckhead Bowties downed the MSL Dayton Dirty Reds, 14-0. The hitting star was shortstop Hoshi Kondo. Kondo was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Bowties. MSL Buckhead now sports a record of 13-4.

Albert Laitinen had a big 2-run double for the Bowties in the bottom of the second inning. With MSL Buckhead leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 17-year old left-handed pitcher José García and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 2nd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Bowties ahead, 3-0.

"That was brutal," said losing manager Owen Kieffer. "It'll probably keep me awake all night."
