MSL Long Island Loses, 7-5, to MSL St. Louis in 10
The MSL St. Louis Coeur needed 10 innings to beat the MSL Long Island Lighthouse, 7-5, at MSL Long Island Ballpark. The win was due in part to third baseman Seung-hak Sin, who went 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. MSL St. Louis reliever Zachary Usherwood picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Duk-yeo Yo was saddled with the loss. Diego Ramos collected his 6th save.

The game was at a stalemate until center fielder Roberto Maldonado came to bat in the top of the tenth. Facing MSL Long Island pitcher Duk-yeo Yo, he hit a 2-2 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting MSL St. Louis on top, 6-5.

"Our team found a way to get it done," said Sin.

MSL Long Island's current losing streak is now 5 games.
