Rogers Stars as Leviathan Top Hurricanes, 7-3
MSL Nova Scotia first baseman Manny Rogers was instrumental in helping the Leviathan triumph, 7-3, over the MSL Cape Coral Hurricanes. Rogers was 4-4 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Xie-li Kun, the winner, improved to 2-2. He held the Hurricanes to 3 runs on 6 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 7 and walking 6. MSL Nova Scotia currently is in third place in the 3L MSL at 11-7.

With MSL Nova Scotia leading 2-1 in the bottom of the second, Rogers hit a run-scoring single off MSL Cape Coral hurler Octávio Gutiérrez. It was the 20th hit of the season for Rogers and put his team ahead, 3-1.

"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said MSL Nova Scotia manager Dominic McIntyre.
