Dirty Reds Go Down to Defeat, 12-5
|
Jon Rosenberry, who is tied for 6th in the 3MSL in triples with 1, led MSL Buckhead to a win over MSL Dayton. The final score was 12-5. Rosenberry collected 2 RBI, while going 4 for 6 at the plate. The designated hitter also scored 2 times. MSL Buckhead reliever Roberto Ramírez was the winner. His record is now 2-2. Roku Morita took the loss. By defeating MSL Dayton, the 5th-place Bowties improved to 10-8.
With two out in the bottom of the seventh, Kieran Winwood had a game-changing hit. The Bowties second baseman slammed a run-scoring single off Roku Morita, making the score 7-5, MSL Buckhead.
"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said MSL Buckhead manager Jason Cease.
