MSL Toronto left-hander Fa-tang Xiong pitched his team to victory over the MSL Montana Pandas at MSL Thunder Ballpark. The final score was 5-3. Xiong, now 3-3, was the winner. In 5 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 1, walking 3, and allowing 1 run. The Thunder move to 8-11 with the win, while the Pandas drop to 11-8.

The Thunder got an important contribution from left fielder Terry Heathcote, who in the bottom of the third hit a curveball to left for a 2-run double. It was his 9th double of the season and put the Thunder ahead, 3-0.
