The MSL Panama City Piranhas weathered an outstanding game by MSL Ft. Worth first baseman Andrés Calderón to topple the Cattlemen, 7-6. Calderón went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The Piranhas saw their win-loss record go to 7-4. At the same time, the Cattlemen fell to 7-4.

MSL Panama City used the stroke of Rafael Galván to get the win. The left fielder hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Piranhas ahead, 7-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"We'll take this win and move on," said Galván.
