Jari Jorisz did all he could to help his team prevail. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the MSL Long Island Lighthouse from losing the game, 4-3, to the MSL D.C. Divided in 10 innings at MSL D.C. Ballpark. Jorisz hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The Divided saw their record improve to 8-11.
The decisive moment came in the bottom of the tenth for MSL D.C.. That's when Elliot Attenborough hit a run-scoring double off 17-year old right-handed pitcher Duk-yeo Yo to win the game. The home crowd went wild.
"Great to get the crowd on its feet," Attenborough said.
