The MSL Cape Coral Hurricanes handed the MSL Charleston Battery a sound defeat, 11-2, at MSL Charleston Ballpark. Luke Werkman was a main contributor to the win. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for MSL Cape Coral. Tom Horton got the win, improving to 4-0. He pitched 5 innings, giving up 2 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 5 and walking 2. The second-place Hurricanes have won 7 in a row.

With one out in the top of the fourth, Tom Horton put MSL Cape Coral in front, 4-2, with a run-scoring single. The Hurricanes went on to win the ballgame.
