Jason Lowe made an impact in the 5-1 MSL Montana win over MSL Mexico City. Lowe, who is tied for 9th in the SMSL with a .481 on-base percentage, was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. MSL Montana raised its record to 6-5 with the win.
MSL Montana used a clutch at-bat from Ze-dong Sa to capture the win. The first baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Pandas ahead, 4-1. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
"I thought we played some darn good baseball," said Pandas manager Mario Ruíz.
