David Perry never let MSL Buckhead get something going. The MSL Kingston right-hander commanded his slider in pitching the Ponies to a 3-1 win. Edmond Ottens closed the game out for MSL Kingston, earning his 1st save. MSL Kingston is in third place in the 3L MSL with a record of 13-8.

With runs few and far between, the Ponies had to seize their opportunities when they came. One of the most important chances for MSL Kingston came in the bottom of the second inning, when 18-year old shortstop Pedro Vásquez delivered a run-scoring single. The single was hit off Peter Pace and made the score 2-1, Ponies. Vásquez went 1 for 4 with a walk.

"It was just a matter of executing," said MSL Kingston manager Dan Taylor.
