Lighthouse Win at MSL D.C., 5-4
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the MSL Long Island Lighthouse and MSL D.C. Divided.

The MSL Long Island Lighthouse defeated the MSL D.C. Divided, 5-4, in M3L Mexican Summer League action at MSL D.C. Ballpark. MSL Long Island pitcher Ken'ichi Adachi had a standout performance. Duk-yeo Yo earned the save, his 5th, for the Lighthouse.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the top of the sixth, with the game tied, Jari Jorisz was at the plate when MSL Long Island scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Lighthouse to go in front, 2-1.

"Ken'ichi's a gamer," said MSL Long Island manager Nees Bogermans. "Glad he's on our side."

The 9th-place Lighthouse now have a win-loss record of 8-13.
