MSL Charleston picked up a win at MSL Nova Scotia Ballpark, bumping off the MSL Nova Scotia Leviathan, 6-4. Pitcher Larry St. John was a major reason the Battery emerged victorious. Seung Pak picked up his 2nd save of the season. The 7th-place Leviathan have dropped 4 straight games.
The Battery got a big at-bat from second baseman Tomás Bañuelos. For the game, Bañuelos slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. In the top of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 7th home run of the season gave MSL Charleston a 2-0 lead.
St. John told a MSL Charleston Observer reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
