Bullets Send MSL Vancouver Home with 7-1 Loss
|
The MSL Baltimore Bullets topped the MSL Vancouver Grey Wolves, 7-1, with youngster Manuel Martínez playing a key role. Martínez went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the Bullets in the win. With the win, MSL Baltimore upped its record to 6-5.
MSL Baltimore went in front, 7-1, on Erwijn Berghout's 7th home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which Berghout hit in the bottom of the seventh, left MSL Vancouver pitcher Rafael Zúñiga visibly perturbed.
"We had a nice day," said MSL Baltimore skipper .
