MSL Oakland pitcher Ed Alvarado did his part in helping his team defeat the MSL Kingston Ponies, 3-2. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. MSL Oakland reliever Gustavo García picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Jody Hammond took the loss. The MSL Oakland win streak is now 3 games.

A crucial at-bat came with the bases loaded and one out in the bottom of the sixth inning. That's when shortstop Ho-win Ai hit a sacrifice fly. The Oaks went on to win.

"I just kind of blacked out and executed my pitches," said Alvarado.
