Battery center fielder Roberto Ornelas left his mark on his team's 9-4 win over the MSL Nova Scotia Leviathan. Ornelas went 2-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4 for MSL Charleston in the contest. Warren Brooks nailed down his 1st save. The 7th-place Battery bumped their record to 11-12.

MSL Charleston needed the clutch hitting of Hilton Donaldson to seal the deal. The left fielder swatted a solo home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Battery on top, 1-0. For the game, Donaldson had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
