Blue Demons 8-3 Winners Versus MSL Montana
The MSL Mexico City Blue Demons knocked off the MSL Montana Pandas, 8-3, in USSL Mexican Summer League action at MSL Blue Demon Ballpark. MSL Mexico City pitcher and Budapest, Hungary, native Keijo Kononen had an outstanding performance. In 6.1 innings, Kononen surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 0. He allowed no runs. Brendon Downing was called on to finish, recording his 1st save.

With no one out in the bottom of the seventh, Stan Barton had a game-changing hit. The Blue Demons catcher slammed a 2-run single off José Aguilera, making the score 6-3, MSL Mexico City.
