Kingfishers Dumped, 4-0, by MSL Colorado
|
MSL Colorado got a strong outing from Terry Campbell as the Billy Goats defeated the MSL Pittsburgh Kingfishers, 4-0, at MSL Colorado Ballpark. Campbell picked up the win for MSL Colorado, going 7.1 innings. He gave up no runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 2-1. Picking up the save was 16-year old right-handed pitcher Baio Ou-yang.
MSL Colorado got a big at-bat from San Nicolas de los Garza, Mexico native Pedro López, who in the bottom of the first hit a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Billy Goats ahead, 3-0.
"Terry's a gamer," said MSL Colorado manager Richard Haigh. "Glad he's on our side."
The Billy Goats improved their record to 5-7 with the win over MSL Pittsburgh.
