The Pittsburgh Kingfishers took on the Las Vegas Flamingos at The Strip.

Dave Hennessey impressed in the 8-3 Pittsburgh win over Las Vegas. Hennessey, who leads the SL in triples with 6, went 4 for 5 with a triple and 2 doubles. He scored 4 times. Richard Miller got the win, improving to 7-2. He worked 7 innings, giving up 3 runs on 6 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 2.

Brian Coleman was vital to the Pittsburgh win. He went 1 for 4. He drove in 2 runs. In the top of the first with two out, Coleman hit a 2-run single. It made the score 3-0, in favor of the Kingfishers.

"Solid performance from our side," said Kingfishers manager Tyler Johnson.

With the win, Pittsburgh raised its record to 36-26.
