Christian Craigen pitched well, but his team, the MSL Las Vegas Flamingos, still dropped a 3-2 decision to the MSL Pittsburgh Kingfishers at MSL Pittsburgh Ballpark. Humphrey Weegerink closed out the game, earning his 4th save. The win for the Kingfishers raised their record to 8-5.

Pete Bullard had a big 2-run double for the Kingfishers in the bottom of the third inning. With MSL Pittsburgh trailing 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Christian Craigen, who leads the SMSL in quality starts with 3, and swatted a double to left. It was his 2nd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Kingfishers ahead, 2-1.

Bullard said his team "played with determination."
