The MSL Charleston Battery topped the MSL Nova Scotia Leviathan, 9-7, with youngster Barre Gachu playing a key role. Gachu went 1 for 1 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Battery in the win. With this game in the books, MSL Charleston is 14-11, MSL Nova Scotia 14-11.

Gachu had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a full count fastball from Roberto Cedeño, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Battery a 9-7 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Gachu.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said MSL Charleston manager Eric Craft.
