Lighthouse Lose to Grey Wolves in Walk-Off
The MSL Vancouver Grey Wolves picked up a win at MSL Vancouver Ballpark, knocking off the MSL Long Island Lighthouse, 3-2. On the mound for MSL Vancouver was right-hander Naomichi Ota. He played a key role in the triumph. Kinnosuke Shimizu, 1-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. MSL Vancouver has run its win streak to 4 consecutive.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for MSL Vancouver. That's when Manny González hit a run-scoring double off 16-year old right-handed pitcher Carlos Ruíz to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

In postgame comments to the MSL Vancouver Daily News, González said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
