The MSL Vancouver Grey Wolves polished off the MSL Long Island Lighthouse by the score of 6-3. The largest share of the credit belonged to designated hitter Gong Dai. Dai went 1-2 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Grey Wolves. Picking up the win was Pat Edmonds. He went 7 innings, allowing 3 runs on 8 hits. The right--hander struck out 4 and walked 2. José Barticer recorded his 2nd save for MSL Vancouver.

Dai had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a first pitch sinker from Ken'ichi Adachi, he banged a grand slam home run to right, giving the Grey Wolves a 6-3 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Dai.

"It's always extra special to win at home," said Dai.

The win puts MSL Vancouver at 6-9.
