The timely hitting of Fernando Fernández helped the MSL Las Vegas Flamingos down the MSL Ft. Worth Cattlemen, 6-1. Fernández was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Flamingos. Stanley Daniel, who is tied for 6th in the SMSL in strikeouts with 28, was the winner. He's now 4-1. The loser was Vicente Rodríguez. MSL Las Vegas is now 10-6.

MSL Las Vegas used a clutch at-bat from Bob Reeves to capture the win. The center fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Flamingos ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
