Yi Excels in 14-5 MSL Thunder Bay Win
MSL Detroit Ballpark was the site for M3L Mexican Summer League action featuring the MSL Detroit Rock City and MSL Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC.

The MSL Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC beat the MSL Detroit Rock City, 14-5, at MSL Detroit Ballpark. Min-bum Yi, in particular, was impressive. He was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 5. With the win, the Northern Lions BC have a record of 16-10.

MSL Thunder Bay used a well-timed hit by Eucla Cocklebiddy to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Northern Lions BC ahead, 4-2. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said MSL Thunder Bay manager Jurg Ursin.
