Pandas Suffer One-Run Loss at MSL Philadelphia
Despite a great performance by MSL Montana right fielder Roberto Ruíz, the MSL Philadelphia Liberty defeated the Pandas by the score of 6-5 at MSL Liberty Ballpark. Ruíz was 1 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Vladimir Ogrijenovic came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2.1 innings. His record now stands at 2-0. Denis Teissier closed the door for MSL Philadelphia, picking up his 7th save of the year.

MSL Philadelphia took the lead, 6-5, on Bill Hendricks's 4th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off MSL Montana pitcher Gideon Bairstow in the bottom of the seventh.

"We try to keep the mood light around here," said Hendricks. "Winning helps."

MSL Philadelphia has an impressive 12-4 record.
