MSL St. Louis parlayed a decent outing from starter En-guo Tan into a solid win over the MSL Montana Pandas. The final score was 6-2. Pablo Pérez, now 1-0, was credited with the win in 0.2 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 1 and walking 0. Pedro Canseco recorded the save, his 3rd.
Vic Salinas cracked a home run off Bernardo Francioni in the bottom of the sixth. His 2-run blast put the Coeur on top, 2-1. In all, Salinas had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
"Nice to tuck this win away," said Tan.
Today's win puts MSL St. Louis at 8-8, while MSL Montana falls to 2-14.
