The MSL Panama City Piranhas had to overcome a big game from MSL Vancouver right fielder Christovão Lestof to leave MSL Panama City Ballpark with a victory. And they did, winning, 7-6. Lestof was 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk. MSL Panama City has a record of 10-6, placing them first in the SL MSL.

The Piranhas got a clutch hit from first baseman Orlando Montés. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Piranhas.

"It's what good teams do, find a way to win," said Montés.
