A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the MSL Panama City Piranhas and MSL Pittsburgh Kingfishers.

Getting offensive support from Germán Sánchez, the MSL Panama City Piranhas topped the MSL Pittsburgh Kingfishers, 9-2. Sánchez went 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Piranhas. Shunsen Sugimoto was the winner in relief. His record is now 2-0. The losing pitcher was Xaavier Clemons.

The Piranhas had to work out of trouble in the top of the sixth. The score was 3-0, MSL Panama City, with one out. MSL Pittsburgh, with runners on 1st and 2nd, was mounting a threat. Ramiro Ramírez dug in at the plate, but on a 1-2 fastball, he flied out.

The Piranhas have an impressive 10-6 record.
