Lovibond Helps Ponies Defeat Dirty Reds, 8-5
The MSL Kingston Ponies topped the MSL Dayton Dirty Reds, 8-5, with third baseman Benjamin Lovibond playing a big role. Lovibond went 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2 for the Ponies in the win. MSL Kingston reliever Juan López picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Yun Ran took the loss. Jody Hammond picked up the save, his 6th.

Rafael García went 1-3 with 2 walks against the Dirty Reds. With the game tied in the top of the ninth inning, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run that put MSL Kingston in front, 4-3.
