Thunder Rally Late to Clip MSL Kingston Township
In a low-scoring affair between the MSL Toronto Thunder and the MSL Kingston Township Knights, pitcher Juan Cruz was the difference between victory and defeat. The MSL Toronto left-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 3-2 Thunder win. MSL Toronto reliever Josh Smith picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. Scot Dixon was saddled with the loss. MSL Kingston Township, at 13-16, has lost 5 straight.

Pedro Hernández was the walk-off hero for MSL Toronto. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Thunder first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It's about putting our team in the best position to win ballgames," said Cruz.
