Northern Lions BC Prevail, 3-1, Over MSL Kingston

The MSL Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC beat the MSL Kingston Ponies, 3-1, at MSL Thunder Bay Ballpark. Starting pitcher Javier Toro was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. MSL Thunder Bay has run its win streak to 4 in a row.
A key at-bat in the game came in the bottom of the sixth inning when the Northern Lions BC sent teenager Glenn Thomas to the plate against Ponies hurler Richard Lonsdale. With runners on 2nd and 3rd and a whole stadium watching, the kid controlled his nerves and delivered huge, hitting a single off a 1-0 fastball to score 1.
"Some wins are easy and some are difficult, but either way we come to the ballpark ready to work hard every day," Toro told the MSL Thunder Bay Herald.
