Free Falling Lighthouse Drop 8th Straight

The MSL Long Island Lighthouse extended their losing streak with a defeat by the MSL Vancouver Grey Wolves.
The MSL Vancouver Grey Wolves faced a tough opponent in MSL Long Island pitcher Michael Campbell, but did just enough to pull out the victory at MSL Vancouver Ballpark by a final score of 4-2. Campbell went 6.2 innings and allowed 1 run. The slumping Lighthouse have dropped 8 in a row.
The Grey Wolves beat the Lighthouse in part due to timely hitting. Case in point: the two-out triple Juan Colón produced in the bottom of the eighth. Batting against Dou-guan Li, Colón gave his team the lead, 3-2, when he hit a 2-run triple.
"I like to lead by example," said Colón. "I'm glad I could contribute to a good win."
