MSL Oakland Oaks starter Ed Alvarado pitched a strong game against the MSL Cape Coral Hurricanes at MSL Oakland Ballpark, leading the Oaks to victory, 4-3. The Hurricanes, at 11-20, have lost 5 in a row.
MSL Oakland took a 4-2 lead on Risto Leino's 5th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Leino hit in the bottom of the eighth, left MSL Cape Coral pitcher Kiryl Neunylov visibly frustrated.
