The MSL Buckhead Bowties beat the MSL Charleston Battery, 7-4, at MLB Buckhead Ballpark. Kieran Winwood, who is tied for 10th in the 3MSL in triples with 1, starred for MSL Buckhead. He went 2-4 with a double. He scored 2 times. The winner was Roberto Ramírez in relief. His record improves to 4-3. Armando Torres took the loss. MSL Buckhead is now 20-13, MSL Charleston 18-15.
Early in the game, third baseman Ibrahim Muhamadi had a 2-run home run for MSL Buckhead. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Bowties on top, 2-0.
"Some of the guys in here work hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Winwood told the MSL Buckhead Daily.
