Tow Hits 2 home runs in Rainbow Mermaids Win
Jiao-long Tow was a vital contributor to the 7-5 MSL Northern Virginia victory over MSL Dayton. The Rainbow Mermaids right fielder went 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. MSL Northern Virginia starter Mikko Salmi was credited with the win after throwing 111 pitches over 8 innings. His record now stands at 4-6. Hyung-oo Cho recorded the save for MSL Northern Virginia, his 6th of the season.

Tow contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for MSL Northern Virginia in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 1-0, Tow took a fastball from Hou-kang Wu and stroked the home run to right-center. His 6th home run of the season allowed the Rainbow Mermaids to leap in front, 2-1.
