Hurricanes Deal Oaks 11-9 Loss
MSL Oakland left fielder Roy Hill had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Hill went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 3, even as MSL Cape Coral beat the Oaks, 11-9. Art O'Rourke picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-0. Alonso Forado was tagged with the loss. The Hurricanes raised their record to 16-18.

MSL Cape Coral used the timely hitting of Joel Pinch to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Hurricanes on top, 9-8. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

In postgame remarks, Pinch simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
