The MSL Charleston Battery topped the MSL Oakland Oaks, 8-2, in M3L Mexican Summer League action at MSL Charleston Ballpark. The standout performance belonged to MSL Charleston pitcher and Ft. Worth, Texas, native Larry St. John. Matvei Laenko collected save number 2. The Battery improved their record to 19-15 with the win over MSL Oakland.

Júlio Díaz aided the MSL Charleston cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the designated hitter went 1 for 3.

"I'm happy we won," said St. John. "That's first and foremost. My goal is for the team to win the day I pitch, however it's done."
