Starting pitcher Vito Riley gave the MSL Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC a rock-solid performance, helping his team defeat the MSL Dayton Dirty Reds, 2-0, at MSL Dayton Ballpark. Riley, now 2-3, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 6, walking 1, and allowing no runs. The 9th-place Northern Lions BC lifted their record to 15-21.
