MSL Dayton Ballpark was the site for M3L Mexican Summer League action featuring the MSL Dayton Dirty Reds and MSL Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC.
The MSL Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC handed the MSL Dayton Dirty Reds a sound defeat, 12-0, at MSL Dayton Ballpark. Neil Mira was a main contributor to the win. He went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 and driving in 3 for MSL Thunder Bay. Fyodor Chaschin, credited with the win in relief, is now 1-2. He allowed no runs on 4 hits in 3.1 innings. Leonard Downing earned the save, his 1st, for the Northern Lions BC.
Pablo Robles had an important at-bat. With no one out in the top of the fourth, he hit a 2-run double. His 5th double of the season put MSL Thunder Bay on top, 2-0.
"Bad day," MSL Dayton manager Owen Kieffer said. "New day tomorrow."
The loss makes MSL Dayton 10-26.
