Baltimore Defeated By Stingers, 6-4

The Toledo Stingers topped the Baltimore Bullets, 6-4, in United States Silver League action at Pacesetter Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Toledo catcher Ernesto Reyes. Jorge Souza was the winner. He's now 5-3. The loser was 28-year old right-handed pitcher Hamish Mitchell. Jim Hunter recorded the save for Toledo, his 3rd of the season.
Jorge Pinalez had a clutch at-bat with one out in the bottom of the sixth for the Stingers. Coming up with the bases loaded and Toledo trailing 4-3, he hit a 2-run single.
Toledo manager David Bunting commended his team for delivering "maximum effort."
With the win, Toledo pushed its record to 42-22.
