The MSL Long Island Lighthouse trumped the MSL Kingston Ponies, 5-4, at MSL Kingston Township Ballpark. MSL Long Island shortstop Zhong-shu Wu was terrific. He was 4-4 with a home run and 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. MSL Long Island has 3 straight wins, MSL Kingston 3 straight losses.

MSL Long Island won the game in part because of Tony García. The left fielder ripped a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Lighthouse ahead, 5-4. For the game, García had 1 double and 1 home run in 3 at-bats.

Wu expressed little emotion after the game. "Every game we win now," he said, "is one less win we'll need to get in the end."
