The MSL Long Island Lighthouse got great pitching from 18-year old left-handed pitcher Nico van Halteren, allowing them to bump off the MSL Kingston Ponies, 3-0. Remke Wisse was called on to finish, recording his 2nd save. MSL Long Island has run its win streak to 5 consecutive.

Felipe Hernández had a direct impact on the outcome. Hernández contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the sixth inning to put MSL Long Island up, 2-0.
