Mikilana Leads Battery to 20-7 Win Over Dirty Reds
Good production from catcher AHei Mikilana helped the MSL Charleston Battery topple the MSL Dayton Dirty Reds, 20-7. Mikilana was 4-6 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 4 times and drove in 2 for the Battery. Ari Markkanen earned the win in relief. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 4 innings. He upped his record to 2-2. The Battery win now puts them at 25-14.

MSL Charleston got a lift in the bottom of the fourth from designated hitter Jong-gook Kim, who hit a fastball to right for a 2-run triple. His 2nd triple of the season put the Battery up, 7-6.

"It was great to come out and swing the bats," Kim told the MSL Charleston Gazette.
