Hurricanes Win at MSL Long Island, 5-2
The MSL Cape Coral Hurricanes got a marvelous performance from pitcher Nando Arnoldi. The left-hander kept the MSL Long Island offense from ever getting much traction. The result was an impressive 5-2 MSL Cape Coral victory at MSL Long Island Ballpark. Arnoldi, now 7-5, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 5, walking 3, and allowing 2 runs. Art O'Rourke earned save number 9 this season.

In the top of the first, Juan Díaz ambushed a 2-1 sinker from Gijsbert Arents and hit a 2-run home run. It gave MSL Cape Coral a quick 2-0 lead.
