Walk-Off Seals 22nd Victory for Divided
|
The MSL D.C. Divided electrified the home crowd with a walk-off win.
Due in large part to right fielder Yuan-zhang Law, the MSL D.C. Divided sunk the MSL Oakland Oaks, 5-4. Law was 3 for 5 with 2 doubles, while adding 4 RBI. José Delgado, the winner, goes to 3-1. He allowed 4 runs on 8 hits, with 5 walks and 3 strikeouts over 10 innings.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With two out, Law hit a slider from Ferrie Bolt for a run-scoring single. The Divided, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"Always feels extra good winning this kind of game," said Law.
The loss makes MSL Oakland 14-26.
