The winning streak continued for MSL St. Louis.
Getting an impressive start from Alfredo Flores, MSL St. Louis beat MSL Kingston by the score of 5-1. Flores, the winner, moves to 6-3. He threw 7.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 1 walk.
Jason King, who is tied for 3rd in the 3MSL in extra base hits with 24, aided the MSL St. Louis cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth. For the game, the left fielder was 1 for 4 with a double.
"My job is to throw quality pitches, go as deep as I can, and give us an opportunity," said Flores.
The wins continue to add up for MSL St. Louis. The latest makes it 8 in a row.
